Drive to the first point of the tour and start to visit Ephesus Ancient City and St. Mary’s House included lunch.

Start to explore famous Ephesus Ancient city with your experienced tour guide. The ancient city of Ephesus was known the Commercial, Religious and Social Center of Antiquity. Ephesus is full of spectacular ruins such as Library of Celsius, The Temples of Hadrian and Domitian, Fountains of Trojan, Bouloterion and the Great Theatre with the capacity of 24.000 spectators. With the mythological stories and spectacular ruins, you will feel the life in the ancient city of Ephesus. You walk on the historical marble street the Great Theater where St. Paul preached. After visiting the famous Ancient Ephesus, continue to drive to visit the Isabey Mosque and have lunch at the local restaurant.
Afterward, we continue in the afternoon tour program visiting the carpet cooperative to see how the Turkish carpets are made by hand and drive to Bulbul mountain to visit St Virgin Mary House. Visit the House of Virgin Mary, the belief that she came to Smyrna in Aegean region with Saint John and St. Mary spent her last days here. This famous Virgin Mary house is known as a sacred place for Christians and Muslims. Our next and last stop will be to visit Temple Of Artemis (Diana), on the side of one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World.
16:30 – Finally, your guided tour ends and return transfer back to your hotel in Kusadasi or Selcuk.

We had an amazing day with our Ephesus tour guide, due to the timing of our tour we were the only ones on the trip and he went over and beyond to make our day exceptional. We had a beautiful visit to the house of the Virgin Mary, Ephesus ancient sights, Temple of Artemis, and St. John Basilica (optional and additional fee). In addition, he took us to see carpet and pottery making which was a great addition for us. They even went out of their itinerary way to take us back to our hotel in Sirince village. The local tour guide was extremely knowledgeable of all the sites, and very kind. He even helped us haggle on our souvenirs at the shops. Extremely recommend this tour, it is 5 stars.

Our awesome day trip to the house of the Virgin Mary and ancient Ephesus sights. Unlike the common perception, December is pro a very pleasant month to visit Turkey so far for our family. The guide Erkan on this trip has made it worthwhile to spend the day trekking through the Ephesus ruins. He was witty n knowledgeable. The day trip was worthwhile n professionally conducted.

Well organized ancient Ephesus day tour. So helpful and friendly tour company staff!!! This was great to be given free time after receiving information at each historical site. Not only did that give you an understanding of the sites but also a chance to explore on your own! The lunch was very tasty at a local restaurant in the town. The local guide was awesome and informative on the day trip. Transfers to the hotels were organized easily!! Highly recommended them!!!
