Start to explore the famous Ephesus Ancient city with your experienced tour guide. The ancient city of Ephesus was known as the Commercial, Religious, and Social Center of Antiquity. Ephesus is full of spectacular ruins such as the Library of Celsius, The Temples of Hadrian and Domitian, the Fountains of Trojan, Bouloterion, and the Great Theatre with a capacity of 24.000 spectators. With the mythological stories and spectacular ruins, you will feel life in the ancient city of Ephesus. You walk on the historical marble street the Great Theater where St. Paul preached. After visiting the famous Ancient Ephesus, have lunch at the local restaurant.
Afterward, we continue in the afternoon tour program visiting the carpet cooperative to see how the Turkish carpets are made by hand and driving to the Temple Of Artemis (Diana), on the side of one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World. Afterward, a short drive to the famous Sirince Village. The Village of Sirince is a place that has managed to maintain and protect its heritage. The groundwork for village dates back to the fifth century B.C.
17:00 – At the end of your guided tour, return and transfer back to your hotel in Kusadasi or Selcuk.

Ephesus is by far the most preserved and biggest place to visit of the seven churches of the Revelation. Even if you are not looking for Christian places, it is also part of the Roman Empire’s historical ruins. That is why there are so many tourists at Ephesus ancient city. Must visit Ephesus at least a day.

Had a great trip to the ancient Amazons, the legendary founders of Ephesus… Our pick-up was at our hotel and the drive took 25 minutes. Started Christmas morning with a visit to the house of the Virgin Mary. Then went to see the ruins of the legendary founders of Ephesus. Had lunch and went to a pottery place and rug-making factory. All in all was a very good excursion, learned a lot and money well spent.
