Travertines come first among the places to visit in Pamukkale. Pamukkale travertines in Denizli are formed by natural water resources coming to travertine beds. Hot water is poured into the layers of travertine and makes various sediments. This hot water, rich in calcium and hydrocarbonates, is at 356 degrees Celsius and when formed in contact with air it forms a white color and a hard ground by forming carbonate precipitates as a result of a series of chemical changes. Calcium carbonate initially precipitated in the series of chemical reactions that make up the floor view is initially in gel form. This gelatinous structure, which hardens over time, takes the form of travertine and attracts many tourists. You will have a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.
