You are going to visit:
The tour begins to explore the wonderful nature of Pamukkale. Visit ancient city ruins of the Hierapolis included Frontinius Street, the Necropolis, Bath and Basilica, Frontinius Gate, Latrina, Northern Byzantine Gate, Fountain of the Tritons and the Temple of Apollon. Continue to see the gleaming white travertine terraces of white Pamukkale, located next to the ruins of Ancient Hierapolis. You’ll continue to enjoy on the Cotton Cliffs, one of the natural wonders of the world formed by deposits of calcareous salts. The extraordinary effect is created when water from the hot springs loses carbon dioxide as it flows down the slopes, leaving deposits of limestone. The layers of white calcium carbonate, built up in steps on the plateau, gave the site the name Pamukkale (cotton castle in English). At the end of the historical and nature guided tour, you’ll have some free time to explore the area on your own. As an option, you may choose to enjoy in the Pamukkale on the small travertine pools during this free time or swim in the Cleopatra Antique Thermal Pool (admission fee extra).
At the end of the Pamukkale guided tour, return transfer back to your hotel in Karahayit or Pamukkale.

That was our reason for coming to Denizli. A visit to the ancient ruins of Hierapolis is like a visit to ancient Rome and walk on the white calcium terraces is like a visit the paradise. This ancient Hierapolis city had a vast elaborate, and wealthy city with every luxury a citizen wanted. The basic excursion includes most of the central area of the ancient city, Pamukkale white terraces, temples, baths, and amphitheater abound. You will be spending a day learning what life was like in a major ancient city, enjoying the architecture and lifestyle of the ancient citizens. Also, enjoy at the calcium terrace pools and if you like pay extra and swim at the Cloapatra thermal pool. It was great to have a thermal hotel in Pamukkale.

The wonder of nature! Amazing thermal springs are a real cure for the soul of all visitors to Pamukkale. one should be careful because in some places the terrain is very slippery on the cotton castle.

A great day out with toursce.com! Pamukkale, definitely worth a visit! The travertine pools are so unusual and exciting, and behind it, all are some of the most amazing ancient ruins I’ve seen anywhere. Incredibly, well preserved and so many too! There is also Cleopatra’s pool and which was nice too! A bit more gimmicky but still worth a dip with all the roman columns under you in antique thermal Cleopatra’s pool. A great day out with our perfect tour group!
