08:30 am ─ You will be picked up from your hotels in Çanakkale.
You will be transferred to the Troy Ancient City.
While we are going to Troy Ancient City, we will stop at the city center and visit the replica of the Trojan Horse which used in the Troy Movie 2004. After that, our Troy tour continues by visiting the ancient city. We will explore these sights one by one: Trojan Horses, Sacrificial Altars, The 3700-year-old city walls, Houses of Troy I, 3000 B.C. – 2500 B.C, The Agora, The Bouleuterium (Senate Building), The Odeon (Concert Hall), Current excavations in progress, Remains of the various cities from Troy I through to Troy IX.
12:00 ─ The Troy tour will be ended.
You will be transferred to your hotels.
Optional hours: There are two Troy tours. The first one starts at 08:30 am and ends at 12:00. The other one starts at 13:00 pm and ends at 17:00 pm.

This is more than movies… Come and visit here with the local guides. That is an enjoyable day at Troia. We learned much about the history of Troia on this trip. Our local guide was a true Trojan & his enthusiasm rubbed off on me. It is well worth the visit here!

Troy was very busy when we were in ancient Troy and the time was the end of the day. We would not like to be in the ruins when it was more crowded. We had a local tour guide with the group to explain every thing and I recommend you do the same. You can be in and out of there within two hours.

A legend comes to life on this tour. Until very recently the Trojan War was considered a myth. However, you may touch the walls of the Troy ancient city where Priam watched as dragged the body of his son, Hector, by Achilles before the gates. Troy area is an archaeological site that is far from complete. There are 9 ancient cities here, each built on top of the other. Over the centuries, wars, earthquakes, etc. have taken their toll. I hope the Turkish Republic government realizes what they have here and works to make sure the site is developed more fully. And again, I hope that at least some of the treasure stolen from Troy grounds is returned to the Troy museum in Canakkale.
