Nemrut sunset was life changing ngl. You climb up to 2150 meters and theres these massive stone heads just sitting there against the orange sky. Photos dont do it justice at all. Then day 2 was Gobeklitepe which is the oldest temple in the world, 12000 years old. Hard to wrap your head around that number. Starting from Cappadocia made sense because we had already done the Red Tour there. The transfer east took us through landscapes you dont normally see as a tourist. Hotel in Adiyaman was simple but fine. Guide was super knowledgable about the Commagene kingdom history. Flight back to Istanbul from the east was included so we didnt have to figure out how to get back. 10/10 would reccomend to anyone who wants to see a side of Turkey most people miss.
