12:30 ─ You will have delicious lunch at a local restaurant when we arrive in Eceabat.
13:00 ─ We will drive to the Gallipoli Battlefield area and the tour starts.
Our first destination will be Brighton Beach. In here, you can easily understand how WWI happened. Then, we will go to the Beach Cemetery. This cemetery contains the remains of allied powers who died during the war. Afterwards, we will proceed to ANZAC Cove. It is a small cove that allied powers landed on 25 April 1915. We will continue our tour by visiting Ari Burnu where so many hard battles happened. After that, we will go to Lone Pine Cemetary. It is one of the ANZAC war monuments in Gallipoli. We will go to Johnston’s Jolly which is another graveyard of allied troops. And we will go to Shrapnel Valley (in Turkish, Şarapnel Vadisi). In that valley, there are also graveyards of the allied troops and this valley is a critical point of Battle of Gallipoli. We move to the Turkish Memorial where Atatürk’s (commander of the Turkish army) amazing words written. To see remarks of the Gallipoli War, we will go to the Nek. Our last destination is Chunuk Bair where the allied armies started to attack on 7 August 1915.

End of the service.

What can I say? My wife and I were thrilled to have Tugrul as our guide. His passion for his works left us in no doubt that he thrives on the history of Anzacs and his country. We learned too much more about the landing and the disorganization of the whole lead-up to the landing. My wife and I both recommend this tour as a must-do. I must add that our drive back was like a ride through hell, it was too much traffic. But we did arrive finally at home in one piece thankfully. Thank you very much for your great organization and tour.

That was our reason for coming to Turkey. A visit to the Gallipoli is like a visit to grandfathers in 1915 and talk with them. As an Australian citizen, like any Aussie and Kiwi citizens, visiting war zone and their cemeteries were our debt to our grandfathers. While the tour guide explained, I was very impressed to imagine many souls flying to heaven at 5 o’clock in the morning of April 25th in Anzac Cove. I wish no country would be a colony of another country. What a pity! Our younger generations have fought and disappeared for the sake of other countries, far away from their countries. Thanks to the tour guide for his knowledge about the Gallipoli war.

Only six of us were on the Gallipoli daily tour. We were the first to join from the Hilton hotel in Istanbul and expected the coach to be full however only four more people joined us from The Hyatt Regency Istanbul Atakoy town and Marin Princess hotel in Kumburgaz town and we were off. We had to take a day trip because we had no time in Turkey. I would also like to see the ancient city of Troy but no time. Could I see the Trojan horse without visiting the entire ancient city of Troy for a few photos? Anyway, that would be our next trip. The day excursion has become a private Gallipoli tour for us. It was a blessing as the guide Bulent had more time to explain everything about the war areas to us and made the tour more personal. All our tour services were on time for hotel pickups and drop-off. Always recommended.

We joined the full day Gallipoli tour from Istanbul. Only I can say is it’s a huge day but well worth it! Very good tour company. Everything was just perfect. Our tourist guide Burak was one of the best we’ve had, he was extremely knowledgeable with a good number of props eg maps, quotes, and photographs. He was also super funny, which made the tour even more enjoyable! Thanks, ToursCE, and your team for a great tour!!

My family and I choose to do a private day tour of Gallipoli through toursce.com and were not disappointed. We were picked up in a private van from the old town hotel at 7:30 in the morning and enjoyed a pleasant drive down to the Gallipoli peninsula. When we arrived we met our tour guide Baris and were taken to a great local restaurant for lunch. From there Baris proceeded to guide us around the main sites of Gallipoli, taking time to answer my kid’s endless questions and also allowing us plenty of free time to explore each site and memorial. Finally, we finished up the tour a little bit early and our driver had us back in Istanbul by 9:30 pm. A great way to experience Gallipoli and Gallipoli war. A fabulous tour and perfect organization from Istanbul.
