At the entryway of Didyma Ancient City, it is the most impressive independent monument of Western Anatolian coasts. It evokes admiration for the temple to survive in a very good condition as well as its monumental structure and unique plan.
There is no other temple in the Greek world with a significant difference in terms of the size of the Temple of Apollo. It is the third largest temple in the world. One of the most important symbols of Didyma, one of the Medusa figures is placed in the garden of the Temple of Apollo in Didyma.
