This is a non-flying experience. You will watch the balloons from the ground and will not join the balloon basket.
If balloon flights are canceled one day before the tour, the tour fee will be refunded. If flights are canceled after departure to the field, the sunrise viewing service still operates.
The watching location may change according to wind and operational conditions to secure the best available view.
There is no tour guide on this experience. A driver handles hotel transfers and viewpoint coordination.
Please dress warmly in cooler months, as sunrise temperatures can feel cold in the viewing areas.

Best sunrise of my life hands down. Watching all those colorful balloons float up over the fairy chimneys with the golden sunrise behind them... I have no words. Guide Tuna took us to three diffrent viewpoints and each one was more stunning than the last. The breakfast spread afterward was delicious too. Got the best photos of my entire trip.

This place broke my brain in the best way. 12,000 years. TWELVE THOUSAND. Before pottery, before farming, before metal tools, some group of people carved massive stone pillars with detailed animal figures and arranged them in circles. Why?? Nobody knows for sure. The T-shaped pillars with the foxes and vultures are hauntingly beautful. The museum in Sanliurfa is where you really get it, they have the Urfa Man statue and tons of artefacts. Balikligol was a peaceful way to end the day.

Older than the pyramids by like 7000 years!! That fact alone is worth the trip. The site is under a protective roof now and you walk on raised platforms above the excavation. Each pillar has different animal carvings, snakes, boars, foxes, cranes. The guide explained that they think it was some kind of gathering place for hunter gatherer tribes. The Sanliurfa museum was excelent, so many finds from the region. Balikligol with the sacred carp was really calming.

I genuinely think the ground view is more impressive than being in a balloon. You see the ENTIRE spectacle, hundreds of balloons dotting the sky over this insane landscape of valleys and rock towers. From inside a basket you just see sky and maybe a few other balloons nearby. Our guide took us to three spots and each gave a totaly different perspective. The whole thing cost less than a nice dinner in Istanbul. Absolutely worth waking up at 4am for.
