The silence when the burner stops is something special. You just float there in complete quiet, looking down at these ancient rock formations and valleys. Its meditative almost. Our pilot had over 10 years experience and it showed in how smoothly everything went. Picked up at 4:30, flying by 5:30, landed by 6:30. Champagne toast then back to hotel by 7:30. Still had the whole day ahead. I went solo and shared the basket with a mix of couples and families. Everyone was smiling the entire time. The other balloons dotting the sky around us made for incredble photos. Definetly the highlight of Cappadocia for me.
