Bucket list done and done. The hotel pickup was at 4:45am and yeah its early but there was tea and snacks at the launch site. Watching all the balloons light up and inflate around you in the predawn darkness is almost as magical as the flight itself. Once airborne the views are just... no words. Fairy chimneys below, dozens of other balloons around you, sunrise painting everything gold. About an hour in the air. Landed perfectly on the trailer. Certificate and champagne after. Amazing.
