09:25 AM – Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to Mount Nemrut. Then, your day starts with us.

• Mount Nemrut Summit HikeMount Nemrut towers at 2,150 m as the monumental burial sanctuary of King Antiochus I of Commagene. At first light, you’ll set out on a gentle summit hike that leads you across the East and West terraces. Here, colossal stone heads of gods—Zeus, Apollo, Tyche, Cybele—and the king himself stand guard over the tumulus. Along the trail, you’ll spot rock-cut reliefs and astronomical alignments used by the ancients. Reaching the crest as sunrise paints the statues in gold is a truly unforgettable experience.
• Cendere (Septimius Severus) Bridge Spanning the sacred Cendere Valley below Nemrut, this Roman‐era bridge was erected in the 2nd century AD to honor Emperor Septimius Severus. Its elegant stone arches span the gorge, showcasing ancient engineering at its finest. You’ll pause here for photos among original Latin inscriptions and carved reliefs that still grace the bridge’s piers. The setting—steep valley walls and flowing river—brings the grandeur of Rome’s frontier to life.
• Ruins of Arsameia on the Nymphaios Nestled at Nemrut’s foothills, Arsameia served as the summer capital of Commagene. The highlight is the rock‐cut tomb of Mithridates II, accessed via a steep grotto stairway. Nearby, you’ll see the “King’s Road” inscriptions carved directly into living rock—three lines of hieroglyphs celebrating royal power and divine lineage. Scattered column drums, temple foundations, and fragmented statuary speak to the Hellenistic‐Persian fusion that defined this dynasty.

Once your tour ends with us, we will transfer you back to Adiyaman Airport.
