Upon your arrival in Pamukkale, the tour will be started.
Pamukkale Day Tour from Antalya includes two different destinations: Pamukkale Travertines & Hierapolis Ancient City. Each destination will be visited in detail. Here the main structures will be visited:
- First of all, it may be useful to talk about Pamukkale. Thanks to its natural structures, Pamukkale has become a tourist center as well as a medical center. The use of medicinal groundwater in treatments and spa centers, makes people especially those with muscle diseases, to visit here frequently. In addition to that, most of the hotels in the area serve as Thermal hotels.
- One of the destinations included in the tour is Cotton Castle. The scientific name of this structure is called Pamukkale Travertines. This structure takes a white color with the collapse of carbon, calcium and carbonate substances over the centuries. This white color overlaps in layers. In this way, it consists of a large structure resembling white and high mountain. Here, the formation of Pamukkale Traventines can be summarized in this way. Within this natural structure, some small pools were formed. The most famous of these pools is called Cleopatra Antique Thermal Pool. You can also check this pool within the tour. But if you want to swim in the pool you will need to pay extra. If you want to swim in this pool, we recommend you to bring a bathing suit. (Swimming is your own expense.)
- Following our Pamukkale day tour from Antalya, we are going to Hierapolis Ancient City This city is a Phrygian city dating back to the past. The area, which has been used for many years, is located on the top of a mountain and therefore its landscape is enormous. There are several buildings in the region that still protect their assets. Some of these structures can be listed as Roman Baths, Necropolis, Domitian Gate, Oil Factory, Agora, Latrina, Frontinious Street, Plutonium, Byzantium Gate, Cathedral, Triton Fountain.
- You have the chance to have lunch at a lovely local restaurant with the group as part of the tour.
- There are shopping stops on the tour.
When the Pamukkale tour ends, you will be transferred to your hotels.
Approx. 22:00 ─ You will arrive at your hotel in Antalya.

Pamukkale is one of the most beautiful parts of the country. During our holiday stay, we have been to 4 different cities in Turkey mid of April Antalya, Cappadocia, Pamukkale, and Istanbul. Our trip started in Antalya and ended in Istanbul. We chose this local agency for our travel organisation and all worked out smoothly. They have very good local services. Our local guides were quite professional about the history and their country so we had a pleasant time.

The excursion is one of the must-do things when staying in Antalya. The value and experience that we got are high above the price of the excursion. Great tour by great people. Firstly, the organisation of the tour was quite smooth. We arranged everything via whatsapp with Tuna, and the guy is just amazing and he was online all the time. We picked up at the hotel around 6.55 and joined the rest of the tour participants. All the group participants were twelve of us, and we were traveling by minivan. Each Toursce day tours have a dedicated professional driver and tour guide with excellent communication skills and very good knowledge about all the stops, places, historical sights, and myths. Four out of 4 tours in Istanbul, Cappadocia, and Antalya that we took involved local tour guides with an archaeology background, which was a great value taking into account the history of the places we have visited. We arrived in Pamukkale town around 11:45, took lunch at the local restaurant, and then arrived at the main sight. The local tour guide walked us around the place for around an hour to make sure we have enough information on different sights and places to see, and then we had roughly two and half hours just to look around and organize our time. The guide showed us a meeting point and waited there for any information or needs. We visited the Cleopatra pool, white calcium pools, the Necropolis, and all the central places. The whole place is so astounding and there is something for everyone in Pamukkale, deep history, swimming white calcium pools, the antique Cleopatra pool, amazing pool sights for your selfies. That is just amazing. On our way back to Antalya we made two short breaks, and then the team dropped us off at our hotels. We highly recommend them.

Impressive ruins site and unique thermal white area. Definitely another worth visiting site in Turkey. From the ancient Hierapolis Necropolis, through the city gates, the amphitheater, thermal antique pool, and all-white thermal hillside pools there was much to explore. Impressive sites in Pamukkale.
