• Gallipoli Battlefield Areas: Rugged cliffs, narrow coves, and exposed ridgelines made Gallipoli one of the most punishing battlefields of the First World War. Your guided tour covers the major sites: ANZAC Cove, the front-line trenches at Johnston's Jolly, Lone Pine cemetery, and the panoramic summit of Chunuk Bair. Standing in these places, the tactical reality of the 1915 campaign becomes immediately and physically clear.

• Troy Ancient City: Before entering the ruins, a large wooden horse replica greets visitors at the entrance, built for Wolfgang Petersen's 2004 film and now a permanent landmark. Inside the ancient site, Homer's world becomes archaeology: Bronze Age city walls, early residential foundations, sacrificial altars, and a Roman agora all occupy the same compact hill. Your guide connects the Iliad's narrative to the specific layers where the story most likely took place.

• Ephesus Ancient City: Ephesus sits in a natural valley in western Turkey, and the landscape itself adds drama to every photograph. Marble columns frame distant hillsides, and the Great Amphitheatre carves a perfect arc into the slope above the city. Pair that scenery with the intricate carvings on the Temple of Hadrian, and you have a site that satisfies both photographers and history lovers equally.
• House of Virgin Mary: Surrounded by pine forest on a mountain above Ephesus, the House of Virgin Mary feels set apart from the busy ancient city below in every possible way. Inside the small stone chapel, rows of candles flicker near an altar, and the scale of the space encourages reflection rather than sightseeing. Many visitors say this stop is the most emotionally affecting part of the entire Ephesus tour.
• Temple of Artemis: Selcuk Museum, located in the town near the Temple of Artemis site, holds several large column fragments and sculptural elements recovered from the ancient wonder's ruins. Seeing those pieces up close gives substance to the single column standing outside, you can study the carving quality, the scale of the individual drums, and the refined workmanship that made ancient visitors call this the greatest building in the world. Museum and site together make a much fuller picture.

08:00 - After breakfast, transfer from your hotel to Pamukkale.

• Pamukkale: Cotton Castle is the literal meaning of Pamukkale, and the hillside earns every syllable of that name. Mineral springs have been quietly depositing calcium carbonate here for millennia, forming wide white terraces that catch the light differently at every hour. Walk up slowly, this is a landscape worth absorbing.
• White Calcium Terraces: Photographers know that Pamukkale's white calcium terraces shift dramatically between seasons. Winter rains keep the pools full and the travertine brilliant white; summer can leave some sections drier as water is redirected. Visiting in spring or autumn generally gives you the best combination: full pools, moderate crowds, and light that brings out the natural shimmer of the mineral-coated rock.
• Hierapolis Ancient City: Earthquake damage visible throughout Hierapolis is not a sign of neglect, it is part of the site's history. Severe earthquakes in 17 AD and again in 60 AD flattened sections of the city, and the ruins preserve both the destruction and the Roman-era rebuilding that followed. Walking through fallen colonnades and tilted foundations, you are reading the geological record of a region that has always sat on active fault lines.
• Cleopatra Antique Thermal Pool: Cleopatra Antique Thermal Pool is the only place in Turkey where you can swim directly above ancient Roman ruins still in situ on the pool floor. Warm mineral water flows at 36 degrees through a pool fed by the same Pamukkale thermal springs that built the travertine terraces below. Entry is a separate cost paid at the pool, it is not included in your tour, so bring extra money if you want this unique optional experience.

Option 1 - Antalya City Tour starts around 10:00.

• Panoramic Boat Tour: This 30 to 45 minute journey on the Mediterranean Sea offers breathtaking coastal views, allowing you to take in the stunning landscapes and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze.
• Duden Waterfall and Karpuzkaldiran Waterfall: The Duden waterfall drops directly into the sea from the cliff edge above Antalya's coast, creating an unusual combination of river, cliff, and saltwater in a single view. Both waterfalls offer shade and running water, a welcome contrast after days of sun-exposed ancient sites.
• Old Town Kaleici: Kaleici is Antalya's preserved old harbor quarter with Roman walls, Hadrian's Gate, Hidirlik Tower, a Byzantine tower, an Ottoman mosque, and narrow streets that have been in continuous use since the second century BC. It gives the day a slower and more urban texture than the archaeological sites that dominate the rest of the program.

Option 2 - Perge, Aspendos, Side and Waterfall Tour starts around 08:00.

• Perge Ancient City: Perge offers one of the most complete Roman urban experiences around Antalya, with colonnaded streets, a nymphaeum, a large bath complex, and a theatre still standing in clear sequence. It suits travelers who want to understand the civic layout of a functioning Roman city rather than visit a single monument.
• Aspendos Ancient Theatre: The Aspendos theatre is the best-preserved Roman theatre in the world still in active use for live performances, with the stage building and seating rising almost to their original height. It is one of the most impressive single structures on this entire 10-day tour.
• Side Ancient City: Side mixes a working coastal town with temple ruins, a Roman theatre, and harbor views within a compact walkable peninsula. The informal combination of everyday life and ancient monuments gives Side a character that larger, more museum-like sites do not have.
• Kursunlu Waterfall: The Kursunlu waterfall provides a natural and shaded close to the day, with a trail through a wooded gorge ending at a wide pool below the falls. It is a refreshing counterpoint before the evening transfer to the bus station for Cappadocia.

• Devrent Valley (Pink Valley): Devrent Valley, also known as Pink Valley or Imagination Valley, sits on the northern section of the Cappadocia Red Tour route and serves as a natural introduction to the region's volcanic landscape. No other valley in Cappadocia offers this combination of open space and concentrated rock art.
• Pasabag Open Air Museum: Looking at Pasabag's carved windows from outside, it is easy to understand the appeal of cave living: the thick rock walls provide natural insulation in both summer and winter, making these cells cooler than any tent and warmer than any wooden structure of the same period.
• Avanos Pottery Workshop: Purchasing pottery at an Avanos workshop and carrying it home is a direct act of cultural support, keeping artisan skills economically viable in a region where tourism could easily replace craft with souvenir production. Workshops that sell functional pieces to working Turkish families are the ones most worth visiting.
• Goreme Panoramic View: Hot air balloons launch from Goreme valley before sunrise, and on balloon days the Panoramic View lets you watch dozens of them drifting simultaneously above the chimneys at varying heights. That combination of balloons and geological landscape is one of the most photographed scenes in all of Turkey.
• Zelve Open Air Museum: Photography at Zelve rewards both wide-angle compositions and tight detail shots: the facade of layered cave openings at multiple levels works beautifully as a broad frame, while individual carved doorways and worn stone surfaces carry their own documentary weight when photographed closely.
• Uchisar Castle (exterior view): From directly below Uchisar Castle's base, the carved windows at the top of the rock appear almost impossibly small, which gives you a physical sense of the formation's actual height that photographs from the viewing terrace do not convey. Walking closer before taking the wider shots adds useful perspective.

• Ihlara Valley: Ihlara Valley is a dramatic river gorge cut into the volcanic plateau, its walls lined with Byzantine rock-cut churches decorated with frescoes. The walking section along the river floor is the most physically distinctive experience in Cappadocia, green, shaded, and very different from the open volcanic scenery of the Red Tour day before.
• Derinkuyu or Kaymakli Underground City: Depending on operational conditions, the underground city visit may be to Derinkuyu or Kaymakli. Both sites descend through carved chambers, stables, wineries, and chapels connected by narrow corridors sealed with rolling stone doors. Their ventilation systems remain one of the most remarkable engineering achievements visible in the region.
• Belisirma Village: Belisirma sits inside the Ihlara gorge and offers a riverside lunch setting that gives the day a natural midpoint rest. The village bridges the underground city and the panoramic viewpoints that follow, making the pace of the day feel balanced rather than rushed.
• Esentepe: Esentepe is one of the best elevated viewpoints for reading the full shape of central Cappadocia from above, with volcanic cones, valleys, and the distant Erciyes mountain all visible in favorable conditions. It gives the final touring day a broad geographic close before the airport transfer.
• Yaprakhisar: Yaprakhisar is a final scenic outlook before the airport transfer that puts the volcanic spires and canyon walls of the Ihlara region into one wide panoramic frame. It is a clean visual close to the entire Cappadocia section and a strong last image to carry away from the tour.

22:20 - Arrival at an airport in Istanbul and meet our staff. (Arrival airport and time may change according to availability.)
