Honestly thought nothing could top the Bodrum nightlife but then I watched the sunrise from a hot air balloon over Cappadocia and reconsidered my entire life lol. The Red Tour with Goreme museum and fairy chimneys was beautifull. The Green Tour with the underground city and valley hike was mind blowing. And the balloon ride tied it all together. Guide Erkan was the man. Cave hotel was unreal. Quick flight from Bodrum, zero stress. Go do this.

Tres dias increibles en Capadocia volando desde Bodrum. El vuelo fue rapido y comodo. El hotel cueva fue una experiencia unica, dormir dentro de la roca con una terraza con vistas increibles. El Red Tour nos llevo al museo de Goreme y los valles de chimeneas de hadas. El Green Tour con el valle de Ihlara y la ciudad subterranea fue espectacular. El vuelo en globo al amanecer del tercer dia fue magico. La guia Leyla fue fantastica. Definetly vale la pena hacer este viaje desde Bodrum!!

We split our Turkey trip between Bodrum beach and Cappadocia adventure and honestly the Cappadocia part won by a mile lol. Sorry Bodrum. The underground city at Derinkuyu was absolutley insane, going 8 levels deep into this ancient refuge. Then hiking Ihlara Valley along the river was so calming and beautifull. The pottery demonstration in Avanos was a fun bonus. Guide Can was fantastic. The cave hotel smelled like ancient stone and fresh linens and something warm I cant describe. Ngl I dream about that hotel.

Going from Bodrum beaches to Cappadocia fairy chimneys is like traveling to another world. The flight was short and easy, and once we landed in Kayseri the adventure began. Day 1 was the Red Tour with Goreme Open Air Museum, the fairy chimney valleys, and pottery making in Avanos. Day 2 was the Green Tour with Derinkuyu underground city, Ihlara Valley hike, and Selime Monastery. Day 3 we had the morning free and optional balloon ride (which we did and it was AMAZING). Guide Leyla was wonderful the entire time, so warm and passionate. The cave hotel was such a unique experience. Three days was perfect to see everything in Cappadocia before heading back to Bodrum.

Balloon ride made me cry. Actually cry. Floating over Cappadocia at sunrise with hundreds of colorful balloons around you and these insane rock formations below. The pilot took us down into Love Valley so close to the fairy chimneys you felt like you could touch them. That alone was worth the entire trip from Bodrum. But the Red and Green tours were amazing too. Guide Selim was brilliant and the cave hotel was so unique. Three days was the perfect amount.
