Landed at Nevsehir and the tour started right away. Guide Tuna was waiting at the airport with my name on a sign. Within 20 minutes we were at the first stop. No wasted time at all. Did the full Red Tour - Goreme Open Air Museum, Devrent Valley, Pasabag fairy chimneys, Avanos, and Uchisar Castle. Every single stop was amazing. Cappadocia is even more impressive in person than any photo can capture. The rock formations are so bizarre and beautifull. Lunch was included at a local cave restaurant which was such a cool experience. Guide Tuna knew everything about the geology and history. Dropped me back at the airport for my evening flight. Perfect use of a day in Cappadocia.

Twenty minutes from landing to the first fairy chimney. Thats the Nevsehir advantage. The Kayseri airport tour takes about an hour to reach the sights but from Nevsehir your basically there immediately. We had more time at each stop because of it. Devrent Valley animal rocks, Pasabag massive chimneys, Avanos pottery, Goreme panorama, Zelve museum, Uchisar Castle. All with a good Turkish lunch. Back at the airport by 4:30. Fantastic.
