- Frontinius Street has nearly 14 meters width and it is the main street in the city.
- Latrina is a sewer system in this historical city which destroyed by an earthquake.
- Northern Byzantine Gate is made in 4. century A.C. in the Byzantine period. The gate included in the fortification system in the city of Hierapolis.
- Fountain of the Tritons is one of the two major monumental buildings in the city with the fountain building near the Temple of Apollo. The excavation works started in 1993.
- Temple of Apollo is a monumental structure and this temple dedicated to the most important god of Hierapolis. The temple made in the 1. century A.C. but it changed the 3. century A.C.

We had very limited time in Istanbul and thought to go to the famous Pamukkale & Hierapolis ancient area in a day. We have found a travel company in Istanbul with a google search. That was a really great day in the ancient Hierapolis and Cotton Castle area with a charming atmosphere and we were very excited in Pamukkale with white calcium terraces. Our tour guide on the tour was very informative and polite. Our daily tour from Istanbul to ancient Hierapolis and White Terraces fully organized by Erkan Erdogan and we did not feel any problem with pick up from our hotel to the airport and back to the airport. Never seen anything like that before. My friend show me the photographs of pamukale 2 yars ago he been there and he said we have to go there. i thought my friend edited the pictures. than i make a a small research on internet and find out that place is real. and we booked a tour with this agency. our tour started early in the morning and end up in the evening. we even catch the dinner at our hotel =) Ephesus is next.

A long day trip but worth it. We were a group of 3 people and had a real fun. It was great to swim in the thermal pool and walk on the terraces. The theatre had an amazing atmosphere. Cant believe believe how these things were made thousands years ago. Thanks everybody.
