Briefing

  • Devrent Valley (Pink Valley): Bring your camera to Devrent Valley and let your guide point out the camel formation, the most photographed rock in Cappadocia.

  • Pasabag Open Air Museum: Known as Monks Valley, Pasabag Open Air Museum takes its popular name from the hermit monks who once called these towering chimneys home.

  • Avanos Pottery Workshop: Avanos sits on the Kizilirmak, Turkey's longest river, and the distinctive red clay from its banks is what gives Avanos pottery its famous color.

  • Goreme Panoramic View: Standing at Goreme Panoramic View, you can see Uchisar Castle in the distance and trace the Red Tour's earlier stops across the valley floor.

  • Zelve Open Air Museum: Zelve's three interconnected valleys each contain dense clusters of cave dwellings carved at multiple levels, connected by tunnels and carved staircases.

  • Uchisar Castle (exterior view): Uchisar's volcanic tuff rock has been tunneled through at every level, with hundreds of carved windows, storage rooms, and passages visible from outside.

Tour Overview

Why Choose the Bus Route Over a Cappadocia Flight Package

  • Significant cost saving on transport, the overnight coach replaces both round-trip flight tickets without removing any part of the guided program or accommodation.
  • Two complete guided routes, the Red Tour visits Devrent Valley, fairy chimneys, Avanos, and Zelve; the Yellow Tour covers valley walks, Cavusin village, and an underground city.
  • Cave or stone hotel night still included, one night in a stone or cave-style hotel in Cappadocia is part of the package, so the experience retains its authentic character.
  • Evening departure means no wasted daytime, you board at Istanbul Main Bus Station in the evening and arrive in Cappadocia in the morning, fully ready for a sightseeing day.
  • Complete logistics arranged, guide handoff at the Cappadocia terminal, hotel transfer, local touring transport, and the return coach are all pre-arranged.

For travelers with more time or a preference for flying, the 2-day Cappadocia tour from Istanbul by flight covers the same two guided routes with a morning departure instead.
A third sightseeing day is added in the 3-day Cappadocia package from Istanbul, which includes the Green Tour.
