2 Days Istanbul to Cappadocia Tour with Goreme & Green Tour

04:00 – 04:30 am – We’ll pick you up early in the morning from your hotel in Istanbul (only centrally located hotels). Then, transfer to the airport for your flight to Cappadocia.
07:00 am – Flight from Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Cappadocia. (Please note: Departure time may vary based on flight availability.)
08:20 am – Arrival at either Kayseri or Nevsehir Airport. Upon landing, you’ll be greeted at the airport with a sign bearing your name. Then, you’ll be transferred to begin your amazing Cappadocia journey!

Today’s Highlights:

•  Devrent (Imagination) Valley
  Start your day in a dreamlike valley filled with rock formations that resemble animals and objects. Locals call it “Imagination Valley” — can you spot the camel or the Virgin Mary?
• Pasabag (Priests) Valley
  Walk through one of Cappadocia’s most iconic areas, where fairy chimneys rise dramatically from the ground. This valley was once home to hermit monks who lived in the rocks.
• Avanos Pottery Workshop
  Visit a traditional pottery studio in the town of Avanos, famous for its red clay from the Kızılırmak River. Watch artisans in action — and even try making your own piece!
• Lunch at a Local Restaurant
  Enjoy a well-deserved break with a delicious lunch featuring regional Turkish dishes, served in a cozy local spot.
• Goreme Open-Air Museum
  A UNESCO World Heritage Site with rock-cut churches, chapels, and stunning frescoes dating back to the 10th century. It’s one of Cappadocia’s cultural gems.
• Uchisar Kalealtı (Below the Castle)
  Stop at the foot of Uchisar Castle — the highest point in Cappadocia. While we won’t hike up today, the views from below are just as breathtaking.
• Goreme Panorama & Evil Eye Tree
  Wrap up the day with panoramic views over the Göreme Valley. Don’t forget to take photos by the famous “Evil Eye Tree,” decorated with blue beads for good luck!

17:00 – End of the day.
Transfer to your cave or stone hotel for an overnight stay. Rest well for tomorrow’s Green Tour adventure!

09:30 am – After enjoying a delicious breakfast, check out from your cave or stone hotel. We’ll pick you up and begin the Green Tour, exploring the natural and historical treasures of southern Cappadocia.

• Esentepe Panorama
  Start your day with the most stunning panoramic view of Cappadocia! A perfect photo stop overlooking valleys, fairy chimneys, and colorful rock layers.
• Derinkuyu Underground City
  Discover one of the deepest and most fascinating underground cities in the region. Built by early Christians to hide from Roman persecution, it features narrow tunnels, kitchens, storage rooms, and ventilation shafts.
• Ihlara Valley (4 km Hike)
  Enjoy a scenic walk through this lush canyon filled with greenery and hidden cave churches. The peaceful stream running through adds a magical touch to this unique hiking experience.
• Lunch in Belisirma Village
  Have lunch at a riverside restaurant in the heart of the valley. Relax and enjoy traditional Turkish cuisine in a natural setting.
• Selime Monastery
  Visit the largest rock-cut monastery in Cappadocia. Once a religious and residential complex for monks, the structure features high archways, chapels, and living quarters carved directly into the rock.
• Pigeon Valley
  Stop at a panoramic viewpoint of Pigeon Valley, named after the pigeon houses carved into the soft volcanic rocks. The view stretches across the region, dotted with dovecotes and natural beauty.

17:00 – The Green Tour ends. You’ll be transferred to either Nevsehir or Kayseri Airport.
21:45 – Flight back to Istanbul. (Flight time may vary depending on availability.)
23:00 – Arrival in Istanbul. Upon your arrival, we will welcome you at the exit with a sign and transfer you to your hotel in central Istanbul.
