Starting from Canakkale meant we could do both Troy and Gallipoli in one full day. Troy in the morning - the wooden horse replica, the archaeological layers, the views over the Trojan plain. Then ferry across the Dardanelles to Gallipoli for the afternoon - Anzac Cove, Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair. Two completely different types of history in one packed day. Our guide was great at both sites.

Ive been to 35 countries and Turkey is now in my top 5. walking where the soldiers fought gave me chills. they even helped us with restaurant reccomendations. the group size was small which was nice. Anzac Cove at dawn was so emotional. Leyla went out of the way to make sure everyone in our group had a great time. Lone Pine cemetery had me in tears honestly. If youre thinking about it just book it, you wont be disappointed.
