Did both Troy and Gallipoli in one day from Canakkale and it was packed in the best way. Troy in the morning was cool, climbing inside the wooden horse replica and walking the ancient ruins. Then we took the ferry across the Dardanelles which was a nice break. Gallipoli in the afternoon was very emotional, especially Lone Pine Cemetery. As an Australian it ment a lot to be there. The guide told stories of individual soldiers which made it very personal. Lunch was included and decent. Whole day was well paced and we were back at our hotel by evening.

Two historic sites one full day. Started early and visited Troy first, the ancient walls and the famous horse were really something. Then crossed the Dardanelles by ferry to the Gallipoli peninsula. The battlefeild cemeteries and memorials were very moving. I didnt know much about the Gallipoli campaign before but our guide explained everything so clearly. He was passionate and respectful. The whole day was informative and well organized. Entrance fees, lunch and ferry all included. Really glad we booked this from Canakkale.
