Seeing Troy in person after reading the Iliad was a dream come true. The layers of different civilizations built on top of each other is fasinating. Our guide explained each period so clearly. Staying overnight in Canakkale meant we werent rushed at all. Got to explore the waterfront in the evening too which was lovely.
