Upon arrival at Konya Airport, one of our staff will be waiting for you with the name signboard. You will meet with our staff then you will be transferred to Konya City Center for starting Konya Tour. Today you will enjoy with Konya Day Tour from Istanbul visiting the most important Islamic site of Turkey.
After meeting with your professional Konya tour guide, You will start the Konya tour. Our first visit will be to the Mevlana Museum. It is known as Tekke ( Dervish Lodge) where Whirling Dervishes were educated and grove up here. You will see all available section of Mevlana Museum such as the Quran Reading Room, Matbah-ı Şerîf (Kitchen), Semâhâne (Ritual Hall), and more.
When we completed visiting the Mevlana Museum and its section like Mevlana Tomb, Whirling Derwish, we will visit Selimiye Mosque was built 1558—1567 in the Ottoman style during the II. Sultan Selim was the governorship of Konya. That’s why when the mosque is completed in 1567, it was named Selimiye Mosque. It is one of the best examples of Classical Ottoman Architectural. The central area of the mosque is closed with one dome and the center of the mosque was enlarged with half domes.
After visiting Selimiye Mosque, we will have lunch in a local restaurant then we continue our Konya Tour by visiting Karatay Madrasha which is using Konya Tiles Museum was built during II. İzzeddin Keykâvus who was Sultan of Selcuklu Empire by Emir Celaleddin Karatay. Inside of Madrasha is covered with mosaics and brilliant tiles. Here is served the Islamic education center for a long time during the Selcuklu Empire.
Today we will also visit Ince Minaret Mosque as well. It is a typical architectural example of Seljuks. It is using as a Ston and wooden works Museum. Ince Minaret Mosque is built between 1258 and 1279 by Vizier Sahib Ata Fahreddin Ali. During the Turkish Republic, it is converted into a museum in 1956 and still using.
Also, we will visit the oldest Mosque of Seljuks, Alladin Mosque is located on top of Alaaddin Hill. It was starting to built by Seljuks Sultan I. Rukneddin Mesud and completed the ruling of I. Alaaddin Keykubat. You are able to visit some of Seljuks Sultans’ grave in the garden of the mosque.
In the end, we will enjoy the panoramic Meram and Konya City Tour then transfer to the airport.
20:00 We will take an evening flight from Konya Airport to Istanbul.
21:15 Arrive in Istanbul Airport.
Upon arrival at the airport in Istanbul, tour ends.

Our brilliant weekend in Konya mystic city. We were very fortunate to find your web online. Had a plan to visit Mevlana’s city a long time before. That was nice to stay 2 days and a night in Konya with a tailor-made program. Wonder if we can stay longer like four days and visit the daily Cappadocia and Catalhoyuk Neolithic and Chalcolithic proto-city settlement from Konya? Anyway, we will make this plan for our next visit. All the company group was very friendly and helpful online while making the plan, bookings, and daily take care of us. Konya is a different class with high vibration and our local guides taught us too much about Turkish history and the depth of Sufism knowledge in and around Konya. The local people are so friendly, the foods are excellent just like the surroundings and prices are reasonable. This city is definitely a place we could come back to time and time again.
