A last minute decision to visit Troy's ancient city on my holiday in Istanbul. We were not really sure what was in the area. But once we arrived there didn't regret it. The only horrible thing for us is the horse at the entrance. The one in Canakkale center is more well done. The day trip organization was very good. The tour guide was the best.
Before arrival in Istanbul, we research we bit about daily tours and found this one. We like history too much, so we booked it right away. Tour booking online was so easy. The road travel was quite interesting with some nice views. We firstly went to see a replica of the Trojan horse then visit the ancient city. The city center is cool and the guide, a lovely man, explained to us many things. The tour group wasn’t that big so we all met and became friends. Then we went to some amazing archaeological sites, and we even saw the ruins of ancient Troy. These areas are full of history and I think one day is not even enough. Recommended for all. It was our pleasure to be part of it!
