More Details

The afternoon sun casts a warm glow over the Dardanelles as you board your vehicle in Çanakkale, ready to step into the pages of history. Within minutes, you’re crossing to Eceabat, and the stories of Gallipoli begin to unfold.

Your first stop is Brighton Beach, once a swimming spot for ANZAC troops — peaceful now, but once deadly under the aim of Turkish snipers. At the Beach Cemetery, silence speaks louder than words as you stand before the graves of fallen soldiers, some barely twenty years old.

At ANZAC Cove, you walk the very ground where soldiers landed at dawn on April 25, 1915. The narrow beach, steep cliffs, and scattered memorials tell of the struggle they faced. From there, the tour winds through legendary sites like Ari Burnu and Lone Pine Cemetery, where courage and loss share the same soil.

As you explore preserved trenches at Johnston’s Jolly and gaze into Shrapnel Valley, you begin to understand the terrain’s deadly grip. At the Turkish Memorial, Atatürk’s compassionate words echo across the hills, reminding you that valor lived on both sides.

Finally, you stand at Chunuk Bair — a New Zealand memorial perched on a strategic ridge. The breeze is strong, the view vast, and the emotion real. The tour ends, but the impact remains long after you return to your hotel.

This is not just a battlefield. It’s a place where stories of sacrifice, humanity, and history converge.

Anzac Cove at Gallipoli... we first traveled to Gallipoli when they commemorated the 78th anniversary and some of our diggers were still with us. It was very different at that time then, it is so built up now. Gallipoli a must for ALL AUSTRALIANS and NEW ZELANDERS.
