More Details
Your day begins in the ancient lands of Canakkale, where two epic stories await. First, we travel to the legendary city of Troy, the inspiration for Homer’s Iliad. As you wander through the remains of city walls, sacrificial altars, and the iconic replica of the Trojan Horse, myths come alive. Was Helen truly the face that launched a thousand ships? Did Achilles really clash with Hector beneath these very walls? As your guide reveals the archaeological wonders and historical truths, you’ll see how myth and reality merge in this timeless place.
Next, we cross the Dardanelles Strait by ferry to reach the shores of Gallipoli. After a lunch break overlooking peaceful coastlines, the mood deepens. Here, on this serene landscape, took place one of the most tragic and heroic episodes of the First World War. You’ll stand on the beaches where ANZAC soldiers landed under fire, walk the preserved trenches of Johnston’s Jolly, and gaze out from Chunuk Bair, where New Zealanders made their stand. Names like Lone Pine and ANZAC Cove will no longer just be places—they’ll become part of your memory.
This isn’t just a tour—it’s a deep journey into humanity’s oldest legends and most recent sacrifices. By the time you return to Canakkale, you will have traveled across centuries, continents, and hearts.
amazing historical site, yes it's Troy. wasn't sure what to expect from Troy. it's one of those places everyone has heard of and it wasn't a disappointment. I would like to advise everyone to take a day and come to visit Troy. all the travel team is friendly.
The Troia guides were very kind and helpful in Canakkale, especially Mr. Coskun at Troia. we would only like to have been able to stay there longer. Surely worth every cent for this tour.
I had an incredible experience with Toursce for my day trip to Troia and Gallipoli! Our local guide was so informative, the knowledge he had superseded my expectations. Being Australian it was awesome to be told about our soldier's courage and strength but also of the Turks who still regarded them as a human! Also thanks to our driver on the tour.
